About

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jenna Quach and I am a new mother to a precious little girl.

I have been working in the field of Asian food for several years, allowing me to have a good knowledge base on Asian cuisine. Now passionate about it, I want to share this with you so that you can cook these authentic and rich dishes in your homes.

In addition, I will tell you about my origins, my influences that lead to subjects of my daily life!

Enjoy your visit!

My Story

My parents were both born in Cambodia with Chinese origins. They fled the country in the 80s to settle in Quebec and both worked in the textile industry. My father has always had an entrepreneurial side since he was young and decided to start a business in the field of Asian food in the early 90s. This is how I grew up in this same field during my childhood. My dad would do road trips in Toronto to visit suppliers, and my brother and I would follow him everywhere. Little by little, Asian products became an innate knowledge in me, I even started working in the grocery store with my parents when I was 12 years old.

Along with my studies, I helped my parents a lot at the grocery store. Without knowing it, I have built up a bag of knowledge. After my university studies, I decided to continue in the same path as my parents, in the field of Asian food by being the manager of my family's store, Marché Hawai. Through the 7 years of work, I learned a lot about the industry of asian food and management in general.

Since then, I have continued in this same vein with social networks, an interface in which I like to share my interests with curious and open people. I wrote my first cookbook which appeared in February 2021 with the Pratico-Pratiques. My goal is to work on different platforms in order to continue to promote the richness of Asian cuisine.
